Class Discussion:

1. Publish your brief survey for the class in the Discussion forum, and ask us all to respond. Discuss designing your survey, recruiting your sample, summarizing what you find, and … Since the self-report information we get from survey research is quickly and easily acquired and analyzed, but can be flawed in several important ways that can make the results difficult or impossible to interpret, how best should we use survey research to learn about the effectiveness of our technology classroom integration efforts?
2. Discuss your reading of the Heggart and Yoo (2018) paper referenced in the Resources and contribute to a discussion of the paper, with attention to:
   1. Is the information provided scholarly, reliable, valid and convincing?
   2. Does the research show that Google Classroom causes better learning?
   3. Do you feel the authors who were also the instructors and whose note provide the data, are unbiased?
   4. Do you feel students, under these circumstances, are fully qualified to report the educational value of a tool/app like Google Classroom?
   5. What might you add to this study now that you have read a bit more about educational research methods?
