PBL Activities Objective. By successfully completing this lab, students should be able to:
- describe the similarities and differences among Project-based, Problem-based, and Case-based learning.
- state advantages and limitations on using games in classroom environments.
Activity Guide:
- Choose a lesson plan you already have and consider how it might be situated within a broader PBL, PjBL and CBL context.
- Consider how that might be accomplished online. (see ISTE 2021 suggestions)
- In the Go Public discussion forum, discuss with your classmates the differences and similarities among Project-based, Problem-based and Case-based learning. (be sure to build from the thoughts of others and avoid, when possible, duplication of ideas in your posts).
- Also discuss the various forms that games and playful learning might take in classroom activities and compose your final reflection about the various perspective on games and learning provided in the Resources.
- Post your final take-away reflection as a response to your initial thoughts in the Initial Thought discussion forum.
