Video may often be more persuasive than text alone. A movie, plus a book, plus a video game, plus other media together may tell an even more persuasive narrative... if done strategically.
Together last summer the 2 Summers students produced (as a class or smaller working group) a 3-minute (or less) digital video about the educational value of 1 or more of the technologies introduced through the Challenge Cycles in EPSY 5220. Your discussion challenge is toconsider what "new literacies" may be involved in producing a digital video as part of transmedia storytelling, and how digital "reading and writing" skills might be learned.
