What is your current opinion about testing? Is there too much testing or not enough accountability? Is student test performance too much in the driver’s seat of curriculum? What about your experience with standards-based or mastery testing– is that any better with respect to enabling teachers to be creative, innovative, risk-takers in their profession? What’s the alternative– are a teacher’s instincts an any better way on which to based instructional design decisions?
