Discussion Prompt

This module is designed to connect in-person discussion with online voice or text-based threaded discussions. As part of this exercise  I’d ask you to consider the purposes of class discussion, techniques for student engagement in discussions, and how online discussion moderation might be different and the same as in-class discussion moderation.

Remember, this should be a discussion! You should be responding to other students’ posts with more than “I agree” or “Good post” by using the “Yes and…” approach.  And always remember to maintain civil discourse in scholarly discussion of this sort.
